HELP AFRIKA TIKKUN

Afrika Tikkun (meaning transforming Africa) is an NGO that provides education, health and social services to children, youth and their families through centres of excellence in South African Townships.  Our aim is to empower communities to develop new generations of productive citizens.

 Our vision is to promote and organize projects with community leadership that strive to uplift, build and ultimately transform the disadvantaged communities of South Africa which have been affected for decades by the ravages of extreme poverty, disease and the psychological effects resulting from these living conditions.

Afrika Tikkun has six centres of excellence:

Gauteng (Johannesburg):

• Diepsloot
• Alexandra
• Orange Farm
• Hillbrow

Western Cape (Cape Town):

• Delft
• Mfuleni

We offer five major programmes:

• Early Childhood Development
• Youth Development
• Family Support Services
• Primary Health Care
• Nutrition and support services
