K.I.D.S RUN 2010

KIDS IN DIRE STRAITS

The K.I.D.S Run is a charity event that will be held on Sunday the 9^th of May 2010, at the Wanderers Rugby Grounds on Corlette Drive, Illovo, Johannesburg.  The event will officially open to the General Public and approximately 1400 participating Harley-Davidson motorcyclists at 10h00 am, following will be the arrival of the Harley Davidson mass ride and official opening of the event.  Access to the premises will be through two entrances, one to cater for motorcyclists and the other for the General Public.

Forty three (43) stalls consisting of various foods, arts & crafts etc. will be on display including Live entertainment on the Main stage, Beer tent and a Jack Daniels Promotional Tent.  Entertainment for all ages will be provided throughout the

day to cater for both children and adults.

The event is expected to attract approximately three thousand (3000) people.  Each person attending the event will be charged a cover fee, part of which will be donated towards blankets that will be distributed to under privileged children with the help of the Rotary Club of Sandown.

10h00:                             Opening of entrances to the premises

10h00 – 11h00:            Arrival of Harley Davidson’s Mass Ride

11h00 – 11h30:            Official opening of the K.I.D.S Run 2010

11h30 – 12h00:            Stunt Ride Performance on Corlett Drive

12h00 – 17h30:            Live Music & Entertainment on Main Stage

17h30 – 18h00:           Close of event and official proceedings
