King's Camps is part of the King's Foundation a registered children's charity. For over 8 years the King’s Foundation has been working with disadvantaged communities in Botswana and Uganda with the primary purpose of developing individuals and organisations that work with children, train and develop local volunteers in sports leadership and make a difference to the lives of children in need. The income generating work of the King’s Foundation covers 100% of our administration and management costs, enabling 100% of supporter donations to go directly to our development work.
I would like to introduce King's Camps to South Africa, our income generating programme. Since December 2008 we have been running activity sports camps for boys and girls aged 4 - 15 at Kingsmead Girls College in Johannesburg - recently shown on Lets Play TV. King's Camps offers a fantastic range of sports and activities that provide fun, friendship and achievement for children during the school holidays. With a highly qualified staff team and manager to oversee the camp at a safe and secure venue it is a brilliant week that is great for parents and even better for kids! We have two further venues - one in Cape Town at St Georges Grammar School and one in Hillcrest KZN at Highbury Prep School. We offer a range of times and prices to suit the needs of working parents looking for safe, secure and fun childcare over the long school holidays. Our next camps are over the World Cup holidays and we are already taking bookings. For more information please email info@sa.kingscamps.org or call Nick on 0721894288, to repeat for more information or to book a place for your child email info@sa.kingscamps.org, call 0721894288 or visit www.kingscamps.org
