Long Range Systems supplies on-site communication systems for the hospitality industry. You may have seen one of our products, the Coaster Call Buzzer System at Kauai outlets nationwide. Once you have placed your order at the counter you are provided with a buzzer in the shape of a drinks coaster. The buzzer lets the customer know that their order is ready by vibrating and lighting up. This product has enjoyed great reviews from current clients as it has remarkably increased the operational efficiency of their fast food operations.
Our latest and most exciting product is the Informant System. The world's first Electronic Comment Card that monitors customer/client feedback in real-time by providing detailed marketing research daily. This is a product that is not limited to the hospitality industry in that it's applications are relevant to any industry which values feedback from customers and clients and/or wishes to communicate with their clients/consumers with regard to providing them with various types of information. Our clients provide us with their marketing objectives and fields of information they require, we then construct a survey on our online site. The completed survey is uploaded to a base which holds the Electronic Comment Cards. The base and trays are located at the client and connected through an ADSL or analog phone line. The easy to use functionality of the comment card allows for a survey of up to 15-20 questions to be completed in approximately 1 minute depending on the type of questions asked. Up to 4 surveys can be loaded onto a comment card. Longer surveys of up to 40 questions per survey can be loaded onto the trays. Once surveys have been conducted the trays are placed back on the base and with the simple press of a button the inputted data is sent to our server and processed into excel and PDF reports which are emailed to our client the following day. The pin prompt function allows for employees or survey conductors to be tracked and cross-sectioned in By-Employee Reports that detail responses to questions about service and other performance indicators for the individual.
One of the biggest opportunities that the Informant System presents is it's use as an integrated marketing tool. The on-screen prompts not only allow the consumer to communicate with your company through survey questions but also allows the brand or company to communicate with and inform the consumer. Information about specials, competitions and promotions and eventual call to action through sms competition or drive to website are all made possible by communicating to the consumer through on-screen prompts.
