Mindflow is a newly formed corporation, which comprises of multi-skilled individuals who activate, inspire and enhance across all boards.
The company strives on pushing limitless boundaries to bring ideas to life and creating to achieve the impossible. At Mindflow we bring life to the notion of creative ingenuity.
The first company project we’ve decided to put together is a charity car wash drive.
It is almost Christmas and this is the ideal time to be giving back to those less fortunate than ourselves
This project will raise funds for an art-skilled based children’s project located in Orlando, Soweto.
Our target: To raise a minimum of R7 500 for the charity.
SABELA SIZWE is a project which takes in the orphaned and vulnerable children in Orlando, Soweto, who have a particular interest in the visual arts.
They are helped to deal with the emotional trauma they have been through by communicating and participating in a wide range of art activities.
This is done to help develop their sense of self-worth and, as art is a means of self-expression, it provides an outlet for these young people to vent their feelings.
Sabela Sizwe is housed in an old disused night-club in a semi-industrial area.
Many of the children taught there live in the basement of the building, and the others come from the surrounding area.
These children have no place to play, and their homes have little space for them to do their homework.
Caregivers often return home very late, and the children are left to fend for themselves after school, in a harsh environment and with no adult supervision.
Mindflow plans to use the funds for the home in the following manner:
A portion of the funds will be used to take the children out for a fun-filled of art. In December, a day will be organised for the children to experience an Art Gallery outing and enjoy the artwork of professionals.
The remainder of the funds raised will be donated to Sabela Sizwe to enable them to purchase necessary equipment and/or groceries they will need over the festive season.
