Happy Monday morning!  We begin the week with more Hollywood awards cheer -- this time going to "The Help" -- which won big at the 2012 Screen Actors Guild Awards.  

The SAG Awards bestowed accolades to "The Help" in the categories of Best Actress (Viola Davis won over Meryl Streep!!) , Best Supporting Actress, and Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture.

Also congratulations to Mary Tyler Moore, who won the SAG 48th Annual Life Achievement Award -- and "The Artist" saw Best Actor Jean Dujardin as their main winner.  What about "The Descendants"? (I'm still a George Clooney fan at heart!)

The Screen Actors Guild Awards, while not quite as well known as the Golden Globes or the Oscars -- are still an important barometer of who will be taking the main awards in the upcoming BAFTAS (British Film and Television Awards) and of course, the Academy Awards (the Oscars!)

The J&B Met at Kenilworth Race Course in Cape Town was always fun! "Made Different" was the theme, and this year's J&B Met main tent was smaller, more exclusive -- and drinks were much more accessible (hence the slow start this morning!) 

Lee-Ann Liebenberg (pictured below, right) wore a stunning sheer flesh and lace gown by Gavin Rajah.  Beautifully done, sensual, and exquisite.  Jeannie D looked equally gorgeous in a grey and floral silk wrap Kluk CGDT dress and she worked the SABC3 red carpet with grace and elegance. 

Some of my other favourites included Uyanda Mbuli in a gold JJ Schoeman, Somizi Mhlongo in white Lady Gaga-lace David Tlale, Katlego Maboe in C-Squared, and Kia Johnson in a yellow dress with black off the shoulder detail by House of Fashion.  Igugu won the main horse race!

The Itch: Seal and Heidi Klum split after almost 7 years of marriage

Happy Year of the Dragon! This is supposed to be one of the most prosperous years in the Chinese astrological calendar, so let's hope so! Certainly I've been inundated with a prosperous load of Hollywood celebrity news -- and the latest A-list power couple to hit splitsville is Seal and Heidi Klum.  

Reports allege that Heidi Klum is to file for divorce from Seal this week, citing "Irreconcilable Differences" (the Hollywood Divorce answer) but Seal is trying to save things -- he's flown from the UK back to LA, and they are trying to work out things in their Brentwood, California mansion.

Fingers crossed they end up being able to reconcile... though Heidi is sure to put a clamp on Seal's "off the rail" partying ways -- all stemming from a family trip to Ibiza last August which went downhill from there.  

Seal has been rumored to be partying super hard, while leaving Heidi to fend for herself with the kiddies.  She showed up at the Golden Globes red carpet without Seal... 

Eegs, and I was just getting over "Trouble in Paradis" with Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis !

Hope they reconcile at least for the kiddies!  In any case it'll be messy, with a multi-million dollar divorce battle and child custody agreements to hammer out...

Meanwhile-- Kristin Cavallari is pregnant! Kristin (pictured below) is back on and engaged with Jay Cutler (they're also another on-and-off couple) and looks like she's full steam ahead!

Maybe SA designer Gert-Johan Coetzee will be designing some nice maternity frocks for Kristin too! He's doing my dress for the J&B Met... can't wait to see it!

And finally, Katy Perry (pictured below) is doing a great job of getting over her divorce with Russell Brand (geez, that already seemed like eons ago!) by "unfollowing" him on Twitter.  

However, Katy Perry is still one of the 78 people that Russell Brand follows on the social networking site. 

She's been pretty quiet since the breakup was announced on December 30th -- and in true Year of the Dragon style, she's ready to move on!!

THE HOLLYWOOD REPORT WITH JEN SU - 2012 GOLDEN GLOBES RED CARPET

Morning! Nice chatting to you today on 5 FM! The 69th Annual Golden Globe Awards kicked off in Los Angeles, bringing the Awards season in Hollywood to the forefront.  Ricky Gervais -- MC for the third time in a row, was funny but toned down (don't think he's going to be 4th time lucky) ... at least we can always depend on the red carpet to bring us plenty of Hollywood glamour and glitz! 

Charlize Theron (pictured above) was my choice for best dressed! Angelina (below) was also stunning... Paler shades definitely ruled the red carpet this Golden Globes season...

Angelina Jolie in a white Atelier Versace long gown with a crimson red pop up panel collar matched her red lips perfectly.  I really love the red lips and this make-up combination (usually she does the smoky eyes, but I liked this look!) suits her perfectly.  

Was great to see her with Brad (still with cane!)  Then you have tie-dye inspiration (below!)

Sarah Michelle Gellar took fashion chances with a Monique Lhullier tie dye blue and white gown (above).  What do you think?  Hot or not?  Maybe her kid helped her with her wardrobe choice!

Uggie the dog wins my vote for Best Dressed Male! This is the famous Jack Russell from "The Artist" who looked splendid on the 2012 Golden Globes Red Carpet.  Who says you need to be 6 feet tall to look good?!

And finally, George Clooney was the big winner of the 2012 Golden Globes - winning Best Actor in a Motion Picture Drama.  His film "The Descendants" won Best Motion Picture Drama.  And his girlfriend Stacey Keibler rocked a red Valentino gown, making her a winner too!
