In June 2012, I'll be joining 11 women in running the 21km Lewa Marathon in the Kenyan bush to raise a million rand for the Tusk Foundation.
The Tusk Foundation is part of the Tusk Trust, which has Britain's Prince William its patron and raises funds worldwide for anti-poaching projects to save the rhino & elephant throughout Africa. It also supports rural settlement & education.
Help raise R1 million for the Tusk Foundation
The first of our fundraisers is an evening with Jason Hartman at the Italian Club in Durban North.
You can purchase individual tickets, or put a table of 10 together. For ticket sales, please contact Cherry Armstrong on 082 440 1730.

An online campaign to track down a woman who was caught on camera dumping a family's cat into a wheelie bin has forced her to be placed under police protection.
Mary Bale, 44, of Coventry in England, was named and shamed by users of the online forum 4chan after footage of the incident was posted on Facebook and YouTube. She was caught dumping a family's cat into a large green rubbish bin by the family's CCTV camera.
The cat, Lola, was trapped in the bin for 15 hours before its owners found her.
Thousands of complaints have littered a Facebook group set up by the cat's owners, including death threats from animal lovers. Police are now stationed outside Bale's house; the RSPCA has said it will also question her.
What do you think about this? Vote in the poll on Gareth Cliff's page!
