It's 5FM’s first Takeover Weekend for 2012!

 

FRIDAY 9 MARCH: 

3pm - 7pm:  The Fresh Drive live from Cubana, Greenpoint. Free! Say hi to DJ Fresh and the team. You may even end up playing the Couch Potato quiz and winning prizes. Hell, you might even meet and dance with "The Cheese".

9pm:  5FM’s Cycle Tour Pre-Party @ Trinity, Greenpoint. 5FM’s DJ Fresh, Poppy, Catherine and Milkshake on the decks. Tickets @ the door.

SATURDAY 10 MARCH:

10am - 4pm:  Youngblood5 on the ground at Mfuleni township and the high school. Come help 5FM DJs to build homes in partnership with Habitat for Humanity South Africa. Register now: SMS "YB5' plus your name, surname, age and email address to 33345 and we’ll call you if you’re selected. SMSes are charged at R1.50.

SUNDAY 11 MARCH:  Race Day! 

10am onwards:  Seven 5FM DJs will be taking part in the Argus: DJ Fresh, Milkshake, Poppy Ntshongwana, KB, Damon Kalvari, Angie Khumalo and Dudu Ramela will be joined by our specifically-chosen listeners.  Come cheer them on at 5FM’s specially designated party area, The Powerzone at Dixies in Simon’s Town, where 5FM’s C-Live and Grant Nash will entertain you. Live DJ mixing sessions with 5FM DJs pumping up the vibe.

7pm - 10pm:  The official Pick ‘n Pay Cape Argus Cycle Tour afterparty @ Quay 4 (V&A Waterfront) with a DJ Euphonik's "My House" broadcast live with guest DJs. Entrance fee at the door.

7am - 10am:  Weekend Breakfast with Thomas live from La Vie, Seapoint. Free! Come cheer on the cyclists on as they head towards the finish line.
