Celebrate Valentine's Day with 5FM
No matter your love persuasion,
the 5FM and Vuzu Love Sucks celebration can help you unlock love, or at the very least make sure you have a good laugh, on Valentine’s Day. Cupid’s big day isn’t just for couples, in fact, it can be more fun if you’re not committed.
Love Sucks is the coolest way to celebrate Valentine’s Day –
whether you’re single or not.
Expect a night of unforgettable 5FM-style entertainment with a sassy, loved-up edge – kissing booths designed to raise money for 5FM’s Youngblood 5 charities, stage games hosted by 5FM and Vuzu TV personalities and the hottest dancefloor tunes as the 5FM DJs take to the decks.
5FM’s Grant Nash (MCing), DJ Milkshake, Angela Guastella, Roger Goode and Jon Savage will entertain crowds in Cape Town and Gareth Cliff (MCing), Poppy Ntshongwana, Anele Mdoda, Nicole da Silva and DJ Euphonik will keep the Joburg crowd company.
And the dresscode?
‘Smart with slippers’
Yes, really! Something a little different from the norm, but pairing comfy slippers with smart party-wear means everyone feels comfortable and no one needs to worry about being overdressed or underdressed. It’s fun and definitely good for a laugh. Think gorgeous girls in cocktail dresses… with leopard print slippers; imagine hunky guys in smart shirts…with bunny slippers on their feet.
Entrance to 5FM and Vuzu TV’s Love Sucks is R50 per person at the door
...and the money goes to a cause supported by 5FM’s CSI campaign, Youngblood5.
Whatever your love persuasion (whether you’re a boy who likes girls, a girl who likes boys, a boy who likes boys, a girl who likes girls, a boy who likes boys and girls or a girl who likes boys and girls) you’ll get a random lock or key at the door. Find your love match and you could win VIP access, awesome prizes and who knows, maybe that person’s heart...
Be on the lookout for the cool kissing and photo booths, a secret message wall where you can write messages to your loved ones and the chance to be part of a stage game panel hosted by some of the 5FM and Vuzu TV personalities.
