5FM and December Streets are touring the country this December and we are looking for opening acts for our Unlock Your Talent Tour.

If you think you’ve got what it takes, then this is for you. The winner will not only get the chance to be the opening for the December Streets at one of the Unlock Your Talent events, but will also win R5000! That's 5 winners in total, one for each event.

We are heading to Pretoria, Joburg, Durban and Cape Town during December. 

If you are based in any one of these four cities and you’re an unsigned musician/band, submit a song to us by sending us an e-mail to competitions@5fm.co.za with Unlock Your Talent in the subject line (please feel free to send us a link to the file download should the file be too big to send via e-mail)

It doesn’t have to be a fancy video, it can be a mp3 recording- we’ll listen to it!

A panel of judges will go through the entries and select the opening acts.

There will be one opening act per event / venue. Please clearly indicate on your entry in which city you are based.

Winners will be announced live on air from 10 December on 5 Breakfast.
