The third and final ‘The Kissing Booth’ film is now streaming on Netflix.
The teen romantic comedy films are based on the novels written by Beth Reekles and follow Shelly "Elle" Evans (Joey King), and the complications that arise when she begins dating her best friend's older brother.
The Kissing Booth 3 centres on the summer before Elle heads to college, and she’s facing the hardest decision of her life: whether to move across the country with her boyfriend Noah (Jacob Elordi) or fulfil her lifelong promise to go to college with her BFF Lee (Joel Courtney).
All three films were shot primarily in Cape Town, South Africa, and include many South African cast and crew members.
Nadia spoke to stars Joey King (who also served as executive producer on the last two films), Jacob Elordi and Joel Courtney about their time filming in South Africa, what the films have meant to them, and their favourite memories on set.
