Not many people get to work in the world of Formula 1, and only 20 people in the world get to drive the cars, however, there are teams behind each car who are responsible for each component.

Jude van Wyk got to speak to one of the people behind the scenes, Shau Mafuna, a South African engineer working for Mercedes AMG in the powertrains division. A former racer himself, he tells Jude about how it was always his dream to work in the Formula 1 space and how he had to shift his own goal posts to make sure of it as his racing career never continued to that level.
