"Bad Romance" is the lead single from Lady Gaga’s second studio album The Fame Monster. The track was produced by RedOne and was inspired by the love monster that she had faced while touring through the previous year. She premiered the song at Alexander McQueen's Spring/Summer 2010 Paris Fashion Week show in October. The song talks about exploring the joys of a bad romance while referencing Alfred Hitchcock films in some of the verses.

"Morning After Dark" is the first single off Timbaland's upcoming third studio album, Timbaland Presents Shock Value II. The song features SoShy and an additional rap verse from Nelly Furtado. The video features only SoShy. Timbaland said the featured artist SoShy is a young new addition to his label, originally from Paris. He said that the song fits in with the trend around vampires in pop culture at the moment, adding that "It fits everything with Twilight". Timbaland appeared with both SoShy and Furtado to perform the song at the 2009 American Music Awards last week.
"Did It Again" is the second single from Colombian superstar Shakira’s third English studio album She Wolf. The song will also be released with a Spanish version, released mainly to Latin America and Spain, as was done with "She Wolf". The song's official remix has a more urban sound, featuring additional vocals from Kid Cudi and is featured on the US special edition of the album.

“Bright Lights” is the second single from Placebo’s 6th studio album Battle for the Sun. It is a heavier-sounding record compared to its predecessor. Frontman Brian Molko said the album’s concept is about choosing life. Not necessarily turning your back on the darkness because it's there, it's essential; it's a part of who you are, but more about the choice of standing in the sunlight instead. Molko has also stated that this is their first album with a theme.
“Undisclosed Desires", is the second single from English alternative rock band Muse’s fifth studio album The Resistance. Lead singer Matthew Bellamy says its quite a personal song about him and his girlfriend. He also said that it’s one of the tracks on the album that really takes an influence from contemporary R&B, particularly Timbaland. It’s also the first Muse song where Matt Bellamy doesn’t play guitar or piano.

“Revolver” is one of two new songs on Madonna’s Third Greatest Hits compilation, Celebration, but only appears on the two disc deluxe compilation. The track features the talent of Lil Wayne, by some accounts this song features him is him at his lyrical best. Others have compared the song to Britney Spears’ “Radar” – but a better version of Radar, featuring Weezy.

Jozi is made up of Bongani Fassie (aka Bongs), Ishmael (aka Ish) and Lesley Mampe (aka Da L.E.S), who all add various elements to the group's unique sound. Ish is no stranger to the music industry; he has been vocal since the early 90's with groups like P.O.C and Skeem. Nor is Bongani Fassie, the son of the legendary South African queen of pop, Brenda Fassie. News has been doing the rounds though, that Bongani has left the band. Some of their achievements include nomination for a MOBO award, they were invited to perform at Springbreak in the US and Won Best Hip Hop award at the Hype Awards and was nominated as the African Artist of the year at the African Music Awards this year. Ths is the first single off their latest album Wildlife, called “It’s Party Time”.
