We lend and borrow things all the time BUT before we continue I do need you to understand the difference between lend and borrow. If you don't, skip to the end **…it's a personal annoyance so bear with me.
The bottom line is that sometimes remembering who took what, or what you took from who is a mission…if you keep a list of who has what, is it on paper or on your p.c. or your phone, or all three? For this reason Return My Pants (dig the name) was created. It's a web based free service that tracks stuff you lend to people as well as things you borrow.
Simple - all in one place, all the time….no more excuses for anyone to 'lose' stuff.

To BORROW = take

So "Can you borrow me your ruler" is NOT cool.
