U2 IN SA

It is confirmed that U2 will be live in South Africa in February 2011, the last time U2 played live in SA was in 1998.
As part of their U2 360° Tour, the band will stage concerts at the FIFA World Cup stadia in Johannesburg and Cape Town.
Bizcommunity reports:
"With a cylindrical video system of interlocking LED panels and a steel structure rising 150 feet from the floor over a massive stage with rotating bridges, the band has created an intimate 360º experience for concert-goers.
Tickets in both cities will start at R161, with general admission floor tickets available at R401. Reserved seat tickets are also available, starting at R428 in Cape Town and R696 in Johannesburg."
Tickets for the U2 performances in South Africa will go on sale Saturday, 23 October through Computicket, www.computicket.com or +27 (0)83 915 800.
U2.com subscribers will be able to buy tickets before the public. Full details at www.u2.com.
Tour dates:
* Sunday, 13 February, 2011: FNB Stadium, Johannesburg.
* Friday, 18
February, 2011: Cape Town Stadium, Cape Town.
