NANDO'S STAFF COVER 900km FOR AIDS

Nando's World AIDS Day

Nando's staff members - "Nandocas" - are feeling the passion as the third annual Nando’s AIDS Ride was launched on the 25th November 2008.

In November 2006, a group of Nandocas set out on an epic bicycle journey from Johannesburg to Durban, covering a distance of 750km over four days to raise funds for their HIV positive colleagues.

Raising almost half a million rands over the last two years and with World AIDS DAY just around the corner, the journey is set to begin in Port Elizabeth and end in Cape Town this year and is anticipated to raise at least R200 000.

In addition, the Nando’s AIDS Ride will continue to raise awareness of HIV/AIDS within the organisation through the testimonies of courageous colleagues who have openly declared their status.
