Kaybee Modishane started with 5FM in April 2024 as a Sports Stand-In or Super-Sub (depending on how you see it) where he would give you your latest and greatest whenever your favourites were not in. After a year, he then moved from the subs bench into the starting line-up in April 2025. With a degree in Drama from the University of Pretoria, entertaining is in his blood.

Now as a full-time member, Kaybee is looking to bring a fresh and unseen perspective in sports, providing facts, banter and all-round sports info making sure everyone is up to date.

Join in on city chaos in Lille, after France beat Germany 2-0 in the semi finals of the 2016 Euros. I was on a school history tour and we happened to have free time, so we went out to watch the game somewhere. After the game, people were drunk, rowdy but were having a party. One of my schoolmates was hit by a car and suffered no injuries. Another person was shot by a flare gun. All I can say is, let Man United win the Champions League again, and its game over!!!!!!

I have 2 dogs. A Bull Terrier mix named Ginger, and a Skaaphond named Basil.
