The collaboration, driven by French for New, will see 5FM join forces with Soundset Sundays in delivering 7 massive events from October 2025 to April 2026 – transforming iconic venues across Cape Town, Johannesburg, Durban, and Gqeberha into sizzling hotspots for music, community, culinary treats and creativity, with some rad on-air ticket giveaways to boot.

From rooftop rhythms to open-air day parties, Soundset Sundays has become the go-to get together for the new generation of tastemakers and trendsetters – a vibe that’s perfectly aligned with 5FM’s DNA. “This partnership is a perfect fit for us, especially in a year where we’re turning 5 decades BOLD,” says Masi Mdingane, Business Manager for 5FM and Good Hope FM. “5FM is youth, Ampli5d.
