The MXD DJ Search is on. Who will rise to the top as MXD shines a spotlight on the next generation of talent?

The MXD DJ Search for Ultra South Africa 2026 is currently in its live finalist phase. This nationwide search, launched by spirit cooler brand MXD, aims to find one rising DJ to perform live at Ultra South Africa Johannesburg

While entries for mix submissions closed on 15 March 2026, the competition is now moving through regional live events:

· Johannesburg/Pretoria Finalists: Performed at Europa, Pretoria on 20 March 2026.

· Cape Town Finalists: Catch the Top 10 regional finalists live at Club Paradise, Cape Town on 27 March 2026.

· Durban Finalists: The regional battle takes place at Harry James, Durban on 1 April 2026.

· National Finale: The Top 3 finalists (determined by judge selection and public voting) will perform at the MXD DJ Search Finale in Johannesburg, where the overall winner will be crowned. For more info, go to https://mxdofficial.co.za/ or keep an eye out on our socials.
