Johannesburg, Tuesday, 11 August 2026 – 5FM is celebrating a massive win as Boipelo Mooketsi, host of 5 After Hours and red-hot podcast, Vibe Check, officially took home the Entertainment Radio Presenter of the Year award at the glitzy 2026 Basadi in Music Awards ceremony on Friday night, 7 August.

Boipelo, lights up late nights on 5 After Hours, Monday to Thursday from 22:00 to 01:00, tackling trending, engaging, brave and even taboo topics, and runs the hugely popular Vibe Check podcast – bringing Mzansi all the hottest red carpet and backstage action from the most electrifying events across the nation.
