Nestled on the lush banks of the Breede River near Swellendam, Up The Creek has earned its place as one of\u00a0South Africa\u2019s favourite riverside music festivals\u00a0- a magical escape where good tunes, good people, and good times collide in a one-of-a-kind setting. The 2026 festival kicked off with a major ticket rush this August with Early Bird tickets selling out quicker than in 2024.<\/p>\n

Building on the first lineup announcement that set excitement ablaze, the\u00a0second artist reveal<\/a>\u00a0now adds even more power, passion, and playfulness to the mix - headlined by\u00a0Spoegwolf, whose poetic, high-energy performances have become the soundtrack of a new generation. They\u2019ll be joined by\u00a0Crimson House, masters of funk and folk-fusion revelry;\u00a0Ross Learmonth, frontman of\u00a0Prime Circle\u00a0turned solo powerhouse; and the return of beloved rock outfit\u00a0Plush, bringing a wave of nostalgia and emotional grit to the Creek stage.<\/p>\n

Also joining the ranks are international indie singer-songwriter\u00a0Ryan Harris (CANADA), Afro-fusion collective\u00a0Kujenga, high-voltage blues rockers\u00a0We Kill Cowboys, and the unmissable comedy chaos of\u00a0The Most Amazing Show with Corn\u00e9 & Twakkie. The lineup continues to pulse with local brilliance, featuring\u00a0Mila Smith,\u00a0Club Valley,\u00a0Petrol Station Pies,\u00a0Pretty Loud,\u00a0Kayla The Crow,\u00a0The Tazers, and\u00a0MaxX & Love\u00a0- ensuring a soundscape that flows from heartfelt harmonies to late-night dance-floor abandon.<\/p>\n

While the full 2026 artist line-up remains under wraps for now, Creekers can expect nothing less than a\u00a0stellar mix of South Africa\u2019s hottest acts and fresh up-and-coming talent, spanning rock, indie, folk, funk, blues, electro beats and everything in between.<\/p>\n
