Johannesburg, Tuesday, 13 October 2026 \u2013 5FM is proud to announce that Brionne Olsen<\/strong>, the unmistakable station voice behind South Africa\u2019s hottest youth radio brand, has officially won the 2026 South African Voiceover Award for Best Commercial Voiceover Performance<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The awards, held on Saturday night, honour excellence in voice artistry across radio, television, digital media, animation, audiobooks and more. Brionne\u2019s win places him among the country\u2019s most distinctive and impactful vocal talents, recognised for originality, emotional resonance, production mastery and creative contribution to the industry.<\/p>\n

As 5FM\u2019s official station voice and Radio Imaging Specialist<\/strong>, Brionne is responsible for shaping the sonic identity that millions of young South Africans recognise instantly. His work spans concept development, scripting, sound design, recording, mixing and mastering, ensuring that every piece of 5FM imaging lands with precision, personality and power<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Before joining 5FM in 2011, Brionne built a formidable career as Station Producer and Lead Sound Engineer at prominent regional and community stations. He also produces custom imaging for international markets through Benztown Branding, creating high\u2011impact audio for stations across the United States.<\/p>\n
